Several of us asked which rule as their were rules posted (ex: no cannonballs, no diving, no eating). The manager said it was against the rules. One Latino man asked why the game had to be stopped when we had all paid $20 to be here and everyone was enjoying the game. A white female Manager was called to watch the disappointed crowd. A white woman with a baby in her arms began chanting “bring the ball back” we all followed suit. We all booed as the new “rule” was passed along. Slowly the entire pool got involved even the two people play cards would extend the arm if the ball came their way! At one point a white staff member told a white man sitting on the pools edge that the game had to end. It was too crowded to swim and so one community member began a game of keep-up with a light weight beach ball. it was a cold rainy day on a holiday weekend AND covid restrictions lifted it was very crowded. The racist “indian” imagery had always bothered me but today’s visit proved that members of the staff are equally racist. Think twice before you come here or keep your valuables in your car. I’ve never wrote a bad review before but this is not okay what happened. I will not be returning or recommending this place. Yes it was my fault I left it behind but one would hope you could trust your staff. They do not have a huge staff so this should not be a hard task. They were not very friendly nor concerned about the fact someone took the blanket as it didn’t just vanish into thin air. I asked them to track it to who cleaned it and go from there. The question is how safe is your stuff when they can’t seem to track down a throw blanket they once had in their possession. Typically you hold these items for a month. It should have been put somewhere safe with all the other items people left behind. I went there in person to speak with someone about how does a blanket go missing ? After it was found. Īfter again many attempts to reach a live person they said they didn’t know where it was now but were looking for it. Īfter finally reaching someone they said that someone had found it but I’d have to speak with a manger in order to retrieve it from where they hold lost and found items. I called the next day to inquire about it. I left a throw blanket on the bed by accident upon leaving. That is a big boo- boo to give keys to dirty cabin. We finally got in an hour after guarantee time. When we arrived on Mother’s Day they gave us the keys to our cabin and they were still cleaning it.

I have been in the hotel/ Resort business for the last 20 years and was not pleased with this place.
